"The staff were great. I slept well despite the rattling window and the waterproof mattress. Everything was really clean except the area around the door handles, and the windowsills. One suggestion for improvement would be to have the corridor lights dimmed at night - I was the last one to go to bed ..."

"Overall a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was very good although the opaque glass meant there was no view from the room. The cost of the stay and bar purchases represented good value for money and we would definitely stay here again."

"We were in room 1 (101). The bed was smaller than a double and was well past its use by date. One side had been used a lot and the springs pinged each time you got off The whole pub showed a lake of care and maintenance. We would not stay here again"
