Het ontbijt was prima en bestond uit o.a. verse toast, croissantje, jam, boter, jus d’orange, koffie, thee, yoghurt, fruit en mueslireep."

"Parking was easy, check in was pretty no-frills and straight forward. Room was reasonably clean. Amenities were basic but sufficient. Cons: the mattress was quite thin and lumpy (could feel the springs), and the noise isolation between rooms were pretty poor (could hear the upstairs neighbour walking around)."

"Incredible property the room was above and beyond our expectations. Clawfoot tub, coffee bar, the best bed and lovely hosts. Walking distance to Ullapool. We wished we had stayed for two nights. Very thoughtful touches to the room and our stay. We hope to be back one day!"

"I booked a room described as a 'Double or twin room with sea view'. In the notes of the booking, I requested twin beds but I was allocated a double room. The man serving me - older gentleman, white hair - would have struggled to care less. No apology, he just blamed Expedia and gave us a room with no view, which wasn't how we wanted to end our trip. There are signs everywhere telling guests what all the rules are. The hotel feels like an old people's home rather than a holiday destination. ...

"Extremely disappointing stay. I booked for 3 people, but the room was only suitable for 2. The third bed was tiny, rock hard and not fit for proper sleep. I could not let my son sleep on it, so I had to use it myself and eventually ended up on the floor. After driving over 8 hours, this completely ruined what was meant to be a nice family trip. Even worse, the hotel has not properly responded to my complaint or refund request through Expedia. Honestly, the fact this place was one of the only...
