Enjoyable stay at the Fushang Hotel. We stayed there for 6 nights and enjoyed the delicious breakfast, big bathroom and shower and hotel staff was friendly and willing to help with any request. The bed was a bit firm for my liking but I still slept well. Overall great experience and would stay there again.

The property was clean(except there was a hint of cigarette smell in our room) with efficient staffs, and the breakfast buffet was also decent. The hotel is located 500-600 mtrs away from a subway station and the bus stand is right in front of the hotel. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Full of surprises!

Excellent size room and cleanliness and gym available. Convenient location within walking distance to the metro and lots of restaurants. Close to Yuexiu Park and the Post Office is opposite the hotel. A good Lebanese restaurant nearby serving pasta. The staff were helpful and welcoming.

Overall stay for 5 days 4 nights. It’s a decent hotel, not a super fancy kind, without coffee/tea in the room but you can get some at hotel lobby. The breakfast spread is quite good with a live noodle bar that someone will cook fresh noodle for you. Selection from fresh salad, fresh fruits, yogurt cups, Asian dishes, bread, Chinese dessert soup, noodle soups, porridge, coffee and tea. The hotel staffs are super nice and friendly! My folks enjoyed their hospitality very much. So thank you very much ;-) The location is okay, one bus stop at the entrance of hotel but we use DIDI app all the way for transport cause it’s much cheaper than regular cab (half the price, if not more) Again, not a fancy kind but decent stay after all 🤓

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Guangzhou – Excellent Value with a Few Quirks I recently stayed at Fushang Hotel in Yuexiu Park, and I must say—it far exceeded my expectations for a hotel at just 100 CAD per night. The room was unexpectedly spacious, more like a small suite with a living area, which made the stay feel much more comfortable than typical budget hotels. The air conditioner was powerful and kept the room refreshingly cool, even during humid days. I also really appreciated the thoughtful tea set and variety of teas provided—such a nice touch for relaxing in the evening. Location-wise, the hotel is a winner. It's in a lively area full of restaurants, local shops, and just a 10-minute walk from Yuexiu Park subway station, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating, doing their best to help despite some language barriers. That said, there were a few minor inconveniences. The toilet was prone to clogging, and the shower temperature was tricky to adjust, either being too hot or too cold. I also tried using the dryer, which unfortunately took over three hours to dry a medium-sized load—definitely something to be aware of if you’re planning to do laundry. Lastly, the safe box wasn’t the most intuitive to operate and could use better instructions. Despite these small issues, I still highly recommend Fushang Hotel for its comfort, affordability, and fantastic location.

We arrived at the hotel at about 2:00 pm but the front desk informed that rooms was not ready. So we went to have lunch and return after one hour, yet the rooms were still not ready. Subsequently I can only return to check in at 10:30 at night but was alloted with 2 poor quality rooms, next to lift lobby. Noise was heard all night like a clock tickling. Unsatisfactory experience.
