"Perfect Experience. Staff at reception when we arrived was super nice. She went out of her way to help us with plates and lighter (as we wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday), so was super happy with her. Same for breakfast, we were only 2 people in that hotel for that night (due to off season) but had full menu prepared for breakfast. Which says a lot about the standard this hotel is maintaining. "Very friendly and courteous staff! It was cold outside but the room was lovely and cozy warm. Nice dinner and my breakfast was included. It is right next to the ferry dock in Gudvangen. In the morning, after breakfast I walked over to the Viking Village and did a tour there… very interesting and worth doing. The bus stop was no more than a 10 minute walk from Fjordtel and I jumped on the bus to Bergen. Thank you for your hospitality Gudvangen Fjordtel!"
