"This was a wonderful place to spend a few nights. If I could suggest anything it would to be to add some type of lighting so that make-up could be applied using the mirrors. There was only back lighting which isn’t very helpful. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Of those folks who may get a little wigged out by the fact there is a cemetery next door, that should be something that is in the description or photos. It didn’t bother us, but some folks may find it a bit unnerving."

"We loved our stay at the Whale Guest House -- we stayed in the Blue House. It was easy to find and check in/out, impecably clean, comfortable bed and shower, and has amazing views of the surrounding bay and open ocean in the distance from inside and the outdoor patios. The host / staff were incredibly helpful before hand with information on local restraunts and things to see or do (including boat local boat tour recommendations), and we arrived earlier than planned and allowed us to check in in advance which was greatly appretiated. On our final night we treated ourselves to an amazing hot tub under the full harvest moon reflecting over the Atlantic - it was a perfect way to wrap up our stay in Newfoundland. Thank you!"
