"We got a message from the hotel on WhatsApp that our room was not available. I messaged back through expedia and got no response so i assumed it was a scam. When we arrived, we were told no rooms were avaliable. They made arrangements with the hotel next door for us to stay. We didnt have time to look for another hotel so we accepted. We had breakfast included with the hotel and that was not offered at the new hotel. It was a dingy old place. When we asked about breakfast, the lady,padmini, said breakfast was available at the other hotel. She just wanted to take our money but didn't care about whether we were provided the service. "Do not deal with this lodge. We originally booked 2 nights. Due to terrible circumstances in Sri Lanka, we couldn’t make it on the first night due to flooding and access to the lodge. The next day, the lodge told us again not to go there as it was still not clear and unsafe. The two caretakers are simply warm helpful and very professional. The neighbours were helpful . I had such a wonderful stay! 🌟 The space itself was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. I felt a warm welcome upon arrival, which instantly made me feel at home. The stunning surroundings were the perfect for a relaxing stay, and every detail was taken care of and clean lovely showers clean.The wall hangings decor amazing.
