"My first stay was in 2025 when the property was brand new, and at that time there were no local breakfast dishes available. I would have expected noticeable improvements a year later; however, the local breakfast options are still very limited. They had already run out of pepperpot when I arrived at 8:00 a.m., and it was not replenished. The other local dishes offered were mediocre at best. Perhaps the hotel should consider hiring more Guyanese cooks to better showcase authentic local cuisine.
The bathroom also had a foul smell throughout my stay. The toilet had visible rust stains, and there was noticeable mold and mildew buildup in the bathroom. I believe the housekeeping and overall cleaning standards could be improved significantly.
The mall is still under construction, so dining options remain limited. Hopefully, once it is completed, there will be more restaurants offering authentic local dishes. Communication with the Chinese front desk staff and housekeeping management was sometimes challenging because of the language barrier; however, the Guyanese staff quickly stepped in to assist and resolve the concerns.
On a positive note, the Space Gym and attached supermarket do make the location very convenient for guests."
