"I absolutely loved my experience at the Starlight Motor Inn. The 60s theme gave it so much personality, and all of the little personalized touches made it feel incredibly welcoming. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into every detail. The owner/manager (or whoever greeted us) was also so warm and friendly, which made the experience even better. It’s clear they’re passionate about what they do, and it really shows! I would most definitely stay here again!"

"I was very nervous coming in because I saw some reviews about the area being an issue and really was so safe and opposite of what I read online. Lots of homes in the area, cool all dairy free coffee shop, a questionable looking but totally safe gas station next door. But really the area was perfectly fine. Just boring! 15 minutes from all the action, no traffic. The rooms were STUNNING and so clean. The bed was comfy and the little living room area with the fridge is convenient and great!...

"The property is in a very good location, close to gas stations, fast food, and shopping outlets. The hotel was clean, well presented. The buffet style break at was pretty good - I love bacon so that was a great one day - I would recommend and definitely stay here again if I was to go back to SC either for mini vacation or business."

"We enjoyed our stay. They really need to do an upgrade on their mattresses and ONE microwave was not enough for the entire hotel! Especially with it being a holiday weekend. I know the Sonesta Suites Hotel have a microwave on each floor near the ice machine. Tru may need to think of this option."

"The room was fine but there’s no regular cleaning every day or a note in the room for how to request more towels. Also, staff placed a known noise issue below my room and when I was awoken at 2am, didn’t address the problem. After speaking with the manager, her response was, “I’ll call you back” and then ignore the issue. I was woken up the next night as well before a 6am flight. For the price, I was disappointed in my stay and won’t recommend them going forward."

"The stay was great. I was there for a week. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. I do recommend to advertise or have better access to what amenities are available. I went and did laundry without knowing there was a laundry room - I could’ve asked too and was mostly my fault but even when using the QR code it was not listed :( but otherwise it was great and felt safe."

"It's a pet peeve of mine when hotels send a million pre-check-in automated emails through these systems but then can't update you about important things during your stay, like the fact that the pool, a main attraction, was closed. It was open in the morning when we left and we altered our day to come back and use it only to find out it was closed with no explanation. Additionally, the front desk concessions were also "out of order" though they seemed to be functioning, so there was no way to...

"The property was very clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping centers within walking distance, which made the location very convenient. Overall, it was an excellent stay. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The only area for improvement was housekeeping, which was provided once every two days; we had expected daily room cleaning"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful plaza! The location is perfect for in town shopping and dining as well as only 20 to 30 minutes away from waterfront dining and Folly Beach. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. One of the mornings we experienced lack of hot water for showers, contacted the staff at the front desk (spoke with KeKe) and she immediately contacted maintenance to resolve the problem.
