"A great place to stay to see the badlands."

"We stayed there in the first week of May 2026. The room was clean and rustic in decor. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, some pastries and dry cereal. It was fine."

"One of the strangest check-in experiences I have ever had. We arrived at 12:00 P.M. and were greeted by a sign with a phone number to call. We were told to go to the back of the building and get the key from one of the rooms there. Worked, but it was odd."

"We booked a two-queen room and had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful; breakfast was hot and adequate selections. Room was big with a private door between beds, which was a big plus."

"Quiet. Very small breakfast area with limited options. Small counter space around sink. Clean. Easy check in. Needs access to other outside doors. "

"In spite of the very tiny room, it was very charming. Spotlessly clean and as modern as it could be. The owner checked me in and she was very pleasant. Unfortunately, through no fault of the hotel, the Budweiser Clydesdales stayed in the room directly above mine and they appeared to be running drills about 5AM. I would certainly stay here again."

"Room was very nicely remodeled and had a western theme, very comfortable bed and nice coffee maker with fridge and microwave, made travel easier warming leftover food from the cooler and keeping beverages cold in the fridge. Hair dryer available in room, TV was a smart TV and easy to navigate. Very cozy stay and got great rest to travel the next day!"

"The place is nice overall, but unfortunately one of the cabins had a terrible odor coming from the water system, to the point that the guests were unable to take a shower comfortably. Considering this is a high-end and expensive property, issues like this should not happen."

"Clean but very dated and well worn furnishings. Very limited eating options in late April in Murdo, only one restaurant open in town."
