A clean and comfortable basic hotel!

A clean and comfortable basic hotel where we spent three nights. The hotel was in good condition, the room and linen were clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view on the lower floors is of some kind of ice skating rink and its roof, but it didn't bother us as we spent the days elsewhere. Good train connections to Amsterdam and Zandvoort beach, although some walking to the trainstations.

Good value for money

Friendly staff. Very responsive. Miss as kettle in the room but otherwise great for 1 night. The room is a bit too small for a longer stay.

The facilities were excellent, staff was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast is ok. The only drawback is it's a 10-minute walk to restaurants. However, the neighborhood is very beautiful, so it's a pleasant 10 minute walk.

Cons: The bathroom light is on a motion sensor. Which means in the middle of the night if you want to use bathroom you get full light. It stays on for 15mins. No cooling -room stuffy and if you open window cigarette smoke wafts in. Pros: good condition. Solid breakfast.

We had one overnight stay and found the hotel was very clean and comfortable; The reception staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was very good. There is about a 30 minute walk into the centre of town but local transport can be used. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Nice room and bathroom. Very quiet in the hotel. Staff were friendly. However, our room was at the front of the hotel and the road is very noisy. There is no air conditioning or fans in the room, so at this time of year, it's too warm to shut the window. The rooms could benefit from a fan

Overall a very nice modern chain. Clean, attractive decor - and very comfortable bed and bedding. Perhaps a little pricey, but it is the Netherlands, where you get a lot of value from the infrastructure of country.

Haarlem Ibis

On entering this hotel it was clean and tidy, staff very efficient and quick to check us in. Tea coffee at reception and never ending. Room clean and looking new and great view of the cross roads.

Really clean Hotel! The Room was spacious with a really big bathroom. There is a parkinglot, but dou should be able to drive backwards and be able to park in narrow parking spaces. We would book it again tbh! The Trainstation to Amsterdam and Haarlem is in walking distance, Zandvoort ist not far away. Really good hotel

We have moved to Haarlem from Berlin and needed a hotel for a night whilst waiting for furniture van to arrive. The staff were really helpful and gave us the dining room to relax and eat in as we ordered food. The two young children slept really well in the family room. Thank you for the excellent start in a new country.

Much more affordable alternative

Nice new hotel. Worth staying, as it's much cheaper than Amsterdam hotels. 1km to train station and 25min train to centrum. Very safe neighborhood. Free coffee machine was a nice surprise.
