"I stayed at the CitizenM Amstel property in June 2025 for 2 nights. The room was larger than other hotel rooms I’ve experienced in Amsterdam. The air conditioner worked tremendously well which I find rare for Europe. The room was VERY clean (I’m very picky about cleanliness) and VERY quiet (I had a room overlooking the garden). "My room was pretty and well designed. Very comfortable and the train was up the block. Hotel Location was two stops from Central Station. The bathroom toiletries smelled amazing. The continental breakfast was pretty basic. Nothing special. I appreciated complementary water bottles and tea selection in room."

"The hotel was very clean and the location was very convenient to restaurants and shopping. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room size was fine. What was not told to me on check in was that I had to let them know we wanted room service. On our second day I said we need the room cleaned and it was done. "

"Just stopped here for a night before morning flight and for that purpose hotel was perfect. Very easy connection to the Schiphol airport, the buss stop is right next to the hotel where busses go every few minutes. The room was very comfortable except that I had a view to the loading dock of trucks. In my case it did not matter."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Clayton Hotel in Amsterdam. The building is beautiful, full of character, and the location is absolutely spot on! everything you could want is just a short walk (or tram ride) away. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which set the tone for a great stay.
