Great seafront with waves 30 metres away but the 8 Dec 2025 earthquake (and advisory for tsunami) struck when we were preparing to rest. Had to walk far to get to mainroad. "Though the room wasn’t overly large, the beds were very comfortable. We had some freezer packs from a cooler that the front desk staff kindly re-froze for us in their freezer, since the room only has a refrigerator. The buffet breakfast was very nice as well. Happy with the stay. Conveniently located not too far from the popular Hakodate attractions."
