"The property is very good for the authentic experience. A bit older but still modern (washrooms could be upgraded). It's really for the onsen experience and the food. A true spa resort! We went and it was early spring and rainy so less to do around the area."

"The location was excellent just a short walk to Moto-Hakone and nearby restaurants. The walk back uphill is definitely doable, but I’d recommend taking a taxi, especially after a long day out. The home itself is tucked away in the mountains, offering a peaceful and private setting. It was beautifully designed and comfortably accommodated our family of six. The sauna and heated pool were a huge bonus and made the stay feel extra special. The host (Lily) was amazing! Our flight was delayed and she offered to pick us up in Odawara. She saved us!
