"The room was cozy, the outdoor Onsen was fantastic. We love the privacy and the Mountain View. The staff was well trained and extremely helpful, especially the food servers. We enjoyed every moment of our two night stay. One issue that can be improved is the lack of a shuttle service for the guests. The Ryokan is on a rather steep slope and dragging our luggage back and forth was a real choir. Difficult to get a taxi from the Ryokan and the shuttle bus was not readily available. The...

"The hotel staff is amazing and the amenities are nice for what we are paying. It’s very family friendly - in the buffet restaurant they have cute dinnerware sets and bibs for kids and actual high chairs (the ones people use at home) and baby wipes warmed in small buckets of warm water. Love the option of private bath (additional 1500¥) and free massage chair use. "

"Everyone at the ryokan was very attentive to our needs. The dinner and breakfast in our room were outstanding. The private onsets were very clean but a little hot. After adding cold water, the onsens were very relaxing. Overall, we had a memorable experience!"

"The room was absolutely incredible and the amenities were fantastic. Although we visited in summer and the heat was extreme, the rooftop onsen was still a highlight. Sitting up there while looking up at the Hakone mountains was an unforgettable experience. Hotel is smal and intimate and we very highly recommend dining at the restaurant for an incredible sushi experience. "

"Had a great stay here, the staff is very friendly and patient as most communication is via google translate, and they are very good at making sure your stay is pleasant, especially for first time ryokan visitors. I’ve seen some folks say it is an older building, but that is its charm. When you are in the baths, it will all make sense. It was clean and the AC unit worked great.
