"Property has refused to allot the room and they said there are no information for staying by expedia , I have informed the Expedia person but they are also unable to solve the matter and finally after 4 hrs of waiting I have gone to local market and arrange the temporary room to stay in the night. Both property and Expedia person are non responsible, careless. I have come to know by some source that the room which was given to me was sold at Rupees 40000/ by property. The Expedia part is also terrible, they don’t want to refund money while the total responsibility to give room was by Expedia. I have followed to take refund while there should be given penalty by Expedia."

"From the moment we arrived (although the journey there was hard work), this resort completely exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find a place that feels both timeless and luxurious — like stepping back in history, yet surrounded by every modern comfort you could wish for. The grounds are beautifully preserved, with so much character and charm in every corner. The staff were absolutely wonderful — warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our stay special. They went out of their way to be kind and accommodating, especially with our toddler, which made the experience even more relaxing and memorable. A special shout out to Manish, who looked after our every need and request. The highlight of the activities available was the sunset boat ride — peaceful, breathtaking, and perfectly organized. The food was outstanding — no matter the cuisine and the local Kolkata food prepared was especially excellent. The spa also deserves a special mention — the masseuse was exceptional, one of the best we’ve ever experienced, leaving us completely refreshed and renewed. We left feeling like we could have lived there forever. This resort is a rare gem — elegant, welcoming, and unforgettable. We will definitely return - if only the journey there could be made more comfortable /less bumpy!! "
