"This is a hidden gem-from the outside it was plain but waking into the interior courtyard and pool area, with all the rooms facing in, it was just lovely. Very well maintained and the rooms are very comfortable. It is clear that the owners have put a lot into the renovations. Super comfortable beds, wry nice bathrooms and everything we needed. Excellent stay and we would highly recommend."

"We loved the room and view. However, kitchen was not fully equipped. Few suggestions- need kitchen garbage with lid, need egg pan or spatulas in kitchen, dust pan and brush."

"Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The rooms were quite spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Clean tidy room and well maintained. The linens and towels were clean and were neatly replaced or done each day. The stay included complimentary continental breakfast which was really good. The lady at the breakfast counter was really courteous and was replenishing food frequently. All of the front staff were really courteous and were helpful. The hotel did not have a pool but the gym was not in good shape with most of the equipments were old or not working. But that was not much of an issue as overall the stay was a great experience. The location of the hotel is very central and easy to access malls, beaches and lakes. I would definitely like to revisit and probably have an additional night of stay as there is so much to explore in Nanaimo."

"This was such a unique property. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for our family of 4. The property is secluded in the forest yet located close to hiking/biking trails and beaches. Each evening we spent time in the pool and hot tub and the owners were very kind and informative. We would definitely recommend staying at this property to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast."
