"The Sir Sam’s inn is a charming lakefront property on Eagle Lake. While the rooms and inn itself were a little dated, this didn’t bother us much at all. We opted to stay in the inn itself rather than the suites and it was nice to be located inside the main building. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, however the ceiling and swivelling fan made the rooms comfortable enough to sleep. You do get a nice breeze from the lake at night! "We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend. The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible. The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!"

"Beautiful setting and lovely accommodations. I loved that they provided life jackets and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and canoes. The kids loved the field to play games and the dock on the water was great for jumping into the lake. The frog pad was a big hit and kept them occupied! The fire in the evening was great, even though we had to put the kids to bed and didn't get to spend much time there. We did not use the restaurant, but maybe next time! We plan to return."
