"The room was pretty clean apart from the fact that it was damp probably due to the carpet. The hotel definitely is a bit outdated. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Overall a good experience. Enjoyed the pool and bath tub!"

"Heritage buildings with a lot of character and skylights everywhere. Comfy bed, clean environment, excellent location. Bath rooms, carpeting and furniture (vintage and in need of refinish) could use a bit of facelift, but overall the buildings are cute. It seems that every room is unique. The location is excellent - two blocks from Pier 21 and close to Dalhousie. Can be noisy if you open the windows (but who doesn't love operable windows?). Free parking in the back of the hotel was a plus."

"The rooms were good and spacious - a little dated. No slippers or robes provided. towels are not fluffy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the street and the street lights are super bright. Breakfast was adequate and not late enough - weekends till 10am and weekdays till 930am. Should be later. Suite have everything you need. Did not use gym. At least 5 blocks up from the Waterfront area. Lots of restaurants and bars and entertainment around."

"At arrival the room given to us was just beside the elevator. We asked to be changed there was no problem with the front desk but it took more than an hour to clean another room. We went for dîner and when we came back the room was ready and our luggage were already in the room. Nice place and nice service"
