"Room cleaning service was a no-show. (nor was there a please do not disturb/ make up room) sign there for use on the door.
Whereas the room was okay clean, the trip to the room, w/o elevator, was a long trek along always dirty, worn pathways. It's difficult to conceive of how or why a hotel would leave its extensive carpeting un-vacuumed.
