"The hotel manager and desk staff were amazing. This hotel is one of the most interesting, with a beautiful interior design. The common areas and hotel rooms were beyond functional and exquisite in their minimalist interior design. The hotel is in a totally renovated 15th century building in the heart of the old town with cobbled stone pedestrian walkways and next to river. This is really a gem in an amazing Austrian town called Hallein and very close to the Eagles Nest and Berchtesgaden, Bavaria, Germany. They also have apartments that you a rent long term for weeks or even months. I highly recommend this property."

"Beautiful location, comfortable suites with a nice view. The breakfasts were fantastic with home made fresh bread and deserts. You can’t go wrong with the cheese and ham there in the morning. We really loved our stay and hope to be back soon! Charming little hotel that feels like a bed and breakfast."

"Very friendly staff. No air conditioning and lots of flies due to the cow farm next door. Beautiful views though and clean hotel. No pool nearby like the photo shows and make sure you check out because they won’t just charge your card on Expedia."

"Our room was absolutely perfect. Everything centered around a huge walk-in shower as it should. The mountain views from our second floor balcony were amazing. And the breakfast was delicious. If you are visiting Salzburg or the surrounding area, I would highly recommend staying here and commuting by train, which is very simple to do and the station nearby."

"Parking was provided in the form of a card that is used at the main nearby parking lot Pernerinsel which is about a 5 minute walk away across the river. Street parking appeared by be paid by nearby machines. I was able to find a nearby street parking to load/unload. All hotels provide a free transit pass. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk away. The buses are clean and convenient and I used it to go to Salzburg. The stairs going up to the rooms is pitch black, so make sure to hit the light button near the front door. The kitchen is well stocked with dishwasher and the supermarket is 5 minute walk away. The bath had a hairdryer and there is a coin operated laundry in the building. I tried nearby restaurants for falafel, pizza and gelato, although the gelato place didn't take credit cards. The location is great and Hallein is just the cutest town ever worth visiting on its own. The room was great but you might want to ask for more towels since you only get one set at the start of your visit. Overall, a great alternative to a plain hotel room in Salzburg."

"Phenomenal 4 night stay with family of 4. First and foremost the staff (specifically Maria - night reception) went above and beyond helping for providing an excellent service to whatever questions or needs when asked. I can not thank you enough. Hotel EXTREMELY clean throughout common and room areas. Very safe and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast had made to order eggs and multiple options…kids didn’t complain once. Centrally located (if driving) for Berchesgarten Area and Salzburg sightseeing. Air conditioning. Pool. Parking on site. Only down side no coffee pot, refrigerator, iron/board (no doubt would probably supply if asked). 4.5 over all. Would definitely recommend for traveling families and just travelers as whole."
