"I arrived at the motel after a long drive from Victor Harbor, South Australia. Tried to have a showet, and could not get the arm of the shower to stay up, even after trying to tighten up the wing nut. So had to go without a shower - not good enough! I can't rate the staff, as reception wasn't manned. Just a sheet of instructions with the key on top The room was pleasant and had everything needed, but staff need to advise maintenance when things like the shower become out of action. A quiet location out of Halls Gap"

"My family and I spent two nights at the Red Gum Cottage and had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Jurek was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. He went out of his way to resolve an issue with the Wi-Fi, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend the Red Gum Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay."
