(If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. "We were looking for a place to stay for one night in the Hilo area, when I came across Hilo Bay Oceanfront B&B. We chose a room that was truly oceanfront, with panoramic views of Hilo Bay and amazing ocean breezes. The service was great, and there were lots of extras available at all times, like snacks, coffee & tea, and bottled water. The made-to-order breakfast at 6:30 am was icing on the cake. We will definitely return!"

"No frills bed and breakfast. This is the type of place that you book for serenity and for the quiet atmosphere which was perfect for our trip. It is worth noting that you need to make arrangements to get your access code ahead of time if you think you will have delays in your travel. However this process was easy to do. The property is close to volcano national park and also has an enjoyable rainforest environment as well. "
