"I stayed at the Plumeria Inn for 4 nights. The unit is like a studio apartment. It is well outfitted with just about everything you need. I cooked all of my meals here. It was very clean and the interior is almost completely new. I was on my own this trip and felt very safe. My unit had a balcony with a hammock which was wonderful. "Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout.
The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop.
The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of...

"Kitchen had all the tools and the grill had propane. All the literature was easy to understand and posted in plain view. The rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean - it was a beautiful home away from home. Parking was easy and the staff were so friendly."
