"Awesome place! The bunks are comfortable and one of the best hostel ones Ive seen anywhere. But the rooms are usually 6 beds per room but the rooms are very large. Location: amazing, downtown (main area lol, Hilo is a small town!) Parking is free nearby at a 3 min walk. Great people and welcoming."

"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable. Useful kitchen appliances if you were thinking of...

"A peaceful property at the very top of the hill, room 3 overlooked Hilo and the ocean to the east. So waking up and seeing it was perfect. Loved it all."

"Room was spacious and thoughtfully appointed. Central location was convenient to bus station and farmers market. It did get a bit noisy at times with the close proximity to downtown, but the mynas were the loudest things around. Contactless checkin was smooth and easy. Unfortunately we did not get to eat at Paul's, but it looked delicious. Maybe next time. "

"Fully equiped kitchen, clean & good sized. Hamoock on the balcony was great to enjoy the sounds of the frogs & waves crashing in the distance. Great spot for my needs. Easy acess to the National Park without dealing with city traffic."

"The room was very nice, although, because of the fireplace, it smelled of wood smoke. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and we really appreciated the towel warmer. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony, even in the pouring rain. I took the forest walk - how special to tromp through th “jungle” on a well maintained trail."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the atmosphere was so cool. It felt like we were staying in a treehouse in the jungle! The provided breakfast was good along with the other snacks in the common area. Very cool experience!"
