"You can tell that the person who designed the room and what equipment and supplies left in the room, has actually travelled a lot and stayed in many other hotel/motels. "Parking wasn't great, there is enough for the number of hotel rooms, but not enough room for hotel guests if there is a function on....Which seems to be often. We had to park in a nearby carpark and keep checking for a free space. Breakfast was ok. On the first morning it was quite quiet but they Kept running out of coffee and plates. The second morning was better. Food is nothing special. The Room. We stayed in the Emily Dickinson room, it was ok. Nice decor. Bed terrible, needs...

"I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden."

"I will preface this by saying we ended up leaving and cancelling our stay at this hotel because it seemed genuinely unsafe. The hotel only gave us a partial refund. The photos on the listing for this hotel are misleading. They make the hotel look clean and bright, but the property is rather dated and is not being well maintained. "Great hotel with clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The staff was helpful and friendly. Check-in was smooth. Very convenient location that has a large choice of restaurants and shopping nearby. The pool and sauna have been beautifully renovated - modern, relaxing, and the perfect place to unwind after a busy day - bring swimwear! From now on, this will be my home away from home when I am in the Burlington/Toronto area."
