"Unfortunately I gave this hotel the benefit of the doubt and did not heed the warnings of others reviews. The few staff members were friendly. The entire property smells like marijuana. The rooms, the stairway, the entrances. We booked 2 rooms, the first one smelled so bad of cigarette smoke we had to switch out. Clearly no staff had checked that room before assigning it to someone who picked a non-smoking room. We had to stay one night because it was too late to change hotels. The next...

"This was one of the nicest places we stayed. Everything was so nice and clean and I am thinking recently remodeled. There were plenty of outlets well placed for charging technology, the bathroom was nice and spacious and I liked the little ledge to put toiletries near the sink. The beds were comfy, black out curtains worked great, fridge in the room … top notch. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel. Great choices for any kind of diet. The coffee also tasted great!"

"Not a bad place to stay, it gets the job done with a very accessible location (and a good view if you get a riverfront room) but do be aware that the smoke detectors seem to all be installed right above the bathroom door, which means 1 hot shower is all it takes to get the detector screaming at you. It was major enough to affect my review (and my sleep)."

"The hotel and lobby were nice. The room was good as weak except for some kind of moldy/musty smell that would show up. I couldn’t pinpoint where it was coming from, but suspect it was from the carpet behind the bed headboard. Staff are nice. "Good place to stay."

"Upper level rooms are not well air conditioned, a fan in the room helped. Views are not very impressive out small windows with defective shades. Would be nice if there was at least a small tv with cable in the rooms rather than going to one of two TV’s available for all in shares space. Convenient short walk to St Paul Cathedral & some dining & free parking was a plus."
