"Beautiful area, of course we're in Austria! Traffic through the Fernepass was atrocious, which is right near Obsteig. Construction was in process across the road from hotel and the trucks that traveled the road all night that our room overlooked were very loud. No A/C so leaving windows open was a must. "Great hotel in a perfect spot for visiting the castles. The breakfast and dinner were good at the hotel restaurant with lovely views of Neuschwanstein Castle. The parking spot was also great since only paid lots are around. The rooms were comfortable and had nice views."
