"Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue. "

Reception wasn't open in the evening when guests arrive . Denise was good and welcoming. Expedia rates are much better than the room rates if booked direct . No heater in the room either and temp plunged to under 7 degrees while we were there. "

"This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets."

"We had a lovely stay at the Kyah Hotel. The room was clean and well‑maintained, and the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our visit. It’s a great place for families with young children. My daughter especially loved having access to the tennis court and had a fantastic time playing. "Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel."

"Lovely stay with an interesting history. I didn’t realize it used to be a nunnery in the 1950s and that it miraculously survived bushfires. The property is beautiful and conveniently located near great cafes and restaurants. Also there’s the neighbours cat (Milo) who visits and is incredibly friendly and adorable.
