"I will never stay there again Ice machine didn’t work. After asking about it I was told “sorry it was frozen up” that I could go to the third floor for ice. Not acceptable The whole front of the air conditioner was detached and laying on the floor on the other side of the bed. The coffee maker was missing the tray to put the coffee in so it didn’t work. There were rolliepollie bugs in the bathroom and on the floor. There was missing grout on the bathroom floor and the whole place smelled....

"Staff was excellent. Check in was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was stocked and refilled throughout the morning. AC took a bit to cool the room down but we were coming from outdoor tournament and were extra hot."

"Expedia is the problem!!! Terrible customer service making a single Dad pay for nights they didn't stay, when the hotel staff said is was fine to check out early without penalty. My card was charged for 2 nights thru Expedia and I paid separately for Thursday night as our baseball tournament started earlier than anticipated and ended earlier than anticipated too. $250 for one night at this hotel is gauging. This is a $120 a night hotel maximum."

"We like the location due to it being off the highway eliminating the noise. The fitness center only had a working tread mill. That was disappointing. Breakfast was okay. It needed to be monitored better and restocked when low(muffins, eggs, utensils). Enjoyed the specialty coffee in the lobby. Beds were comfortable. I had to screw down the toilet seat or it would have come right off when used. Luckily I wipe down surfaces before using and found that out. The floor by the pool and elevator were...

"Hotel was clean enough. But not CLEAN. The dust was noticeable on fixtures in the hallway, elevator was dirty. Pool tiles were missing and had a film on them. Bathroom sink was clean but shower had mold. Bed was super comfy. Pillows were great. Breakfast was good. I would stay again if passing through, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay there."

"The hotel was nice and clean. My only complaint is the pools area need to be more maintained. I was also under the understanding that they had a free breakfast for guest."

"There were a ton of homeless people outside the building, but the security measures were very strong and the facilities were extremely clean and safe. The parking was additional which was frustrating. Otherwise the staff and amenities were stellar."

"First of all ice machine on our floor broken all 5 days we were there. Air conditioning I. Fitness room not working and it was 90. Thirdly never had change for washer and dryer. Said would get some every day. Finally had to walk to liquor store across the street"

"Very clean room and bathroom. Plenty of other families there for kids sports events, as we were. We noticed one of the comforters had a small stain after we checked in. We let the front desk know before leaving for dinner. When we returned, the comforter was changed. Overall, great stay."

"My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back."
