"Afternoon tea and breakfast offerings were always-changing and unique. We enjoyed the privacy of our cottage room, but the community of the house and dining. Cottage Inn staff was all friendly and helpful! The proximity to everything was very convenient. The water pressure was incredible as well."

"The Inn is so cute and cozy. The wallpaper in living room and dining room is eye catching and makes it feel like a home. I stayed in Room 11 and the bed so comfortable and there was plenty of room. It had a detached bathroom right across the hallway which was your own. I would stay here again when I come back up to Bar Harbor! You can walk to the village center in about 20 minutes "

"The people who work there are so nice and very thoughtful of my experience. This was my first time traveling to Bar Harbor, and I felt very welcomed to the community. They gave me great recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. The room and bathroom were spotless (shout out to Bill!!!), and the breakfast and treat we so tasted and fun. Definitely book this place for a safe stay and warm welcome to the town!"

"We requested a first floor room as I am orthpedically challenged. When we got there it was a second floor room with no chance to change.
The room was awful, decorated in flea market antique style, with ridiculously antique wallpaper that was peeling, carpet that was poorly instaled and was "rippling" off the floor,
The bathroom had a tub with no separate shower. I was unable to bathe as I can't step into a tub, unfortunately, so I left unshowered. The bed was designed by Torquemada...

"Amazing location walking distance to the town. The room was clean, Patty was an excellent Inn Keeper, very friendly and accommodating. Free snacks, breakfast and coffee, and happy hour, very thoughtful touch. I highly recommend. "
