I really liked the location. A very busy intersection and fun to watch all the scooters. Cool area to walk.

The room was spacious. The location was not easy to find. Took two taxi drivers but still ended up with the wrong hotel.

Couldn't stay at the hotel without refund.

I made a reservation of this hotel but the entrance doors were closed and nobody was seen at the reception. The neighbourhood residents helped me and found out that the owner has changed. I was told that the owner would come to see me in ten minutes but he/she didn't appear. I gave up and found another hotel nearby and paid for an overnight stay. The hotel was neither convenient nor friendly. Why did they accept my reservation first of all??

I had a super early flight so decided to stay close to the airport on my final day - this place was great for that purpose. The staff was friendly and helpful. He set everything up for my 5 am car pick up to the airport. The room was spacious and clean. There was a lot of noise coming from outside so if you are light sleeper like me, you may have some issues with sleeping - music, cars, chickens, etc. It's a good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport but wouldn't recommend it as your main stay during your trip - not a lot going on in the surrounding area.

You refused to allow me to check in. Even though I showed you my booking confirmation and they agreed in was the right hotel. Whoever I dealt with last night couldn’t speak any English besides telling saying “no booking, no booking” while waving his finger in my face. I believe your hotel is a scam. Instead of trying to help me, you had a group of your friends in the lobby, laughing at me because I was struggling to communicate even through translator. I would not recommend your hotel to anybody. I filed a claim against you to Expedia and to my credit card company. THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM!! I was rufused check in even after showing him my booking confirmation and using a translator app. DO NOT STAY HERE! You might show up and they wouldn’t check you in or help you.. they’ll just scream at you “no booking no booking!!”

I arranged an airport pick up with the hotel, which they confirmed but they did not show up. Called the hotel and needed a helpful local at the airport to translate. Hotel said "get a taxi". Wasted 90 minutes

ホテルよりも民宿みたいな感じ。受付でオーナーの子どもがゲームをしていて、２Fにオーナー家族が住んでいて、３Fで泊まる感じ。サイトの日本語変換機能がよくないのか？空港ホテル間の送迎が無料だと思ったら、迎えは有料、送りは無料だった。海外に慣れていないから文化の違いかもしれないが、ホテルの周辺も、高校生の息子を連れて歩くには心配な感じの治安だった。 It looks more like a guest house than a hotel. It's like the owner's children are playing games at the reception, the owner's family lives on the 2nd floor, and you stay on the 3rd floor. Is the Japanese conversion function on the site not good? I thought the transfer between airport and hotel was free, but the pick-up was charged and the drop-off was free. I am not used to being abroad, so it may be cultural differences, but the area around the hotel was also a bit unsafe, which is worrisome for walking around with my high school student son.

Promised breakfast, but did not get it

We asked several times about breakfast, and it was confirmed both in writing and oral, but when we got up in the morning before the flight nobody was up and no breakfast! And no excuse or trying to fix it.

ホテルは廃業してました。

夜十一時に空港から歩いていくと違うホテルになっていた。そのホテルの女主人から関係ないと言われた。仕方なく周囲を探すと「そこは廃業したからウチに泊れ」と客引きが来る。その後。タクシーで探したが元の場所だった。帰国後Refoundを要求します。暗い夜道を歩かせて、これが女性だったらとても危険。消費者保護プログラムの使用も考えている。

Could not find the place and had to take another

The taxi driver could not find the place based on the hotel name and address. We reached a hotel with the exact same name, but they said they are not the one (and it didn't look like it). After spending a lot of time in the middle of the night, I took another hotel.

The property has changed names and was very difficult to find - even for a native taxi driver who also spoke English. Mr. Henry had offered to pick us up at the airport, but then wanted us to call him when we arrived. But we didn't have a local SIM card, there weren't any local businesses to help us call (from domestic arrivals), and my computer could not connect to the airport free Wi-Fi. However, Mr Henry was otherwise friendly. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Which Hotel???

I would second the assessment of other reviewers that (Mr.) Henry is a great asset to the company. The hotel was quiet, had a lift, plenty of hot running water and free transfer to airport. However, it wasn't the hotel I booked. I had tried to look on my phone at the map directions to the hotel but got a message saying that the location could not be found. When I arrived at Hanoi airport, I tried again. Same result. The driver had the same issue. He drove around for some time, but there are many small airport hotels on side roads and our search was unsuccessful. He rang the number,and eventually got directions which took us to Viet Village Hotel where a pleasant young man who identified himself as Henry came out to meet me and confirmed the reservation. During booking, I had read that 'Airport Hotel Hanoi Convenient and Friendly' did go under other names and thought there must have been a name change since they advertised the property, not that it was a totally different place. There were not many places around Viet Village to get food and after I'd taken a shower and returned to reception, there seemed to be no one around. The next morning in the taxi on the way to the airport I saw, on the right, 'Airport Hotel Hanoi, Convenient and Friendly'. I can only assume they advertise one hotel and then allocate bookings among a number that Henry speeds between. Though I did get somewhere to sleep, it was confusing and a little disconcerting.

I made a reservation for twin beds and to have a taxi pick us up. Emails went back and forth for this. A Mr Henry signed the emails. When we arrived there was no taxi,but eventually we got there. The non-English speaking night clerk showed us to a room with one double bed. I tried to indicate we needed 2 beds. He took us to another room with a queen sized bed. We were very tired so agreed it was ok. The room was clean, quiet, pretty small, but all that we needed. Next morning we went down to the lobby for breakfast before taking a taxi to the airport. No food was there, but the young clerk gave us a snack and went off to order us eggs and toast. He also called for help from the English speaking owner? After a bit of back and forth he informed us that Hanoi Airport Hotel Convenient and Friendly had been out of business for 2 years and the new name was Hanoi Airport Hostel. However the sign outside still says Hanoi Airport Hotel Convenient and Friendly. I also got an email when I returned home from Mr Henry asking for a review. It's all very confusing. I believe I paid the right amount for what we got but will be looking on my credit card to see that I was only billed once (to be on the safe side). You should check into this to see what is going on so others don't get confused.

地図が違い、近所を１時間車で探したあげく、エレベーターがないので、兄弟のホテルに行ってくれと、、、そして部屋は電灯がちらつき、テレビは砂の嵐、ドアのロックは壊れ、シャワーとトイレは汚く、危なくてホテルから一歩も出られず、夕食もシャワーも浴びれず朝早々に空港へ向かう事になった

Henry was fabulous. He communicated with us directly after booking and sent a driver to pick us up from the airport immediately. The hotel is close to the airport and clean. Henry was very attentive to us and made sure that we had everything we needed for our one night stay.
