"The hotel is not as 'glam' as you expect and most areas are rather dated and tatty (esp the room bathrooms). The room service menu is very limited and the eating areas are very old fashion. It's a great location, some lovely team (the barman up at the pool bar, and Emily in the spa is fab). But overall I was rather disappointed. Stay and see what you think, but the hotel needs to 'raise it's game' to keep people returning. Think it's riding off of an old reputation. "

"Nice, big hotel with swimming pool. Very busy during our stay with various events taking place. Rooms are nice size however the finish in the bathroom needs improvement for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast is good with lots of choice. All the staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay but do not feel overall that the 5 star rating is accurate. Also we were issued two keys - one works the elevators and the other the room. Unfortunately at check in we were not informed of this, thus ensued some...
