"Stayed night before a carnival cruise so perfect location. Cafe was good and jazz in the observatory bar was a nice surprise. I am tall and have moderately big feet so the shower was awkward, but that’s to be expected in an old ship."

"To begin with, the reviews are obviously fake. I should’ve looked at them more carefully, but I based my decision to stay at this facility had a lot to do with its 8.2 rating.
There is review after review where the subject title is just Excellent and then the comment is clean room or blah blah blah but there’s no way that you know 15 people are leaving reviews and they all just say basically the same thing.
The hotel has no lobby. You check in talking to a employee through a plexiglass...

"Please let your customers know in advance that they need to use their room key to operate the elevator. Also let your customers know that when the parking garage is full, you have to park across the street. And that the parking garage is dark with no lighting and that the hotel should have some type of safety officers on foot assisting customers."

"The hotel is next to a very busy intersection and was very loud especially at very early hours of morning. The a/c is located right in front of beds which is inconvenient, since you will freeze too quickly but if you turn it off it gets too stuffy. The room we got had a strange smell that wouldn’t go away even with door and window open. I did advise the front desk person and he provided me with some air freshener. Beds seem comfy"

"Great stay overall. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient for the Port of Los Angeles. Parking was easy, check in was smooth, and the hotel was quiet at night which made it easy to relax before travel. Solid breakfast options in the morning as well. Would definitely stay here again."
