"On opening our room door my wife and I thought nice, however after a while we decided it was not as nice as we thought, lots of cobwebs and cracks in the walls a refurbished is needed. We both had little sleep as in the early hours of the night we heard loud drilling noise as if someone was working nearby. The breakfast was nothing to write home about everything was put on the plate so your toast became soggy and only the middle was buttered, service was poor."

"Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least). "The hotel looked very dull on the outside but from the moment we walked through the door it was lovely. The foyer is comfy and welcoming, the staff were all friendly and helpful, our room was cosy, clean and had great air con. Breakfast was really nicely laid out and a good variety of hot and cold foods. We were very happy with our stay. "
