"Very cool renovated historic hotel. You get the feeling of being in a place rich in history, but with a clean, updated lobby and rooms. Although numerous events were clearly taking place on lower floors (as I could tell from the loads of gift bags at the hotel lobby, the staffed security desks visible when the elevator doors opened on the 9th, 10th, and 11th floors, and the numerous guests on and off the elevators moving between those floors), from where I stayed on the 17th floor it was...

"We stayed on the 7th floor. Our room was poorly designed. We had to unlock 2 different doors to get into our room. The furniture must have been ordered too big for the room, so it was situated sideways, which then meant we could NOT comfortably watch TV. On Friday night, we were kept up all night because every time the AC kicked on, it sounded like a jackhammer! In the morning, we called the front desk about it. They sent someone up and the whole unit has to be replaced. When we got back in the...

"Very old feeling and dated. Roach in the mini frig. One guy works the desk. He was pleasant but overwhelmed with 2 people checking in. No continental breakfast. When I asked at front desk “it’s not included” yet same breath said “they just didn’t show up today”. Only positive is proximity to the aquarium. Was very disappointed in this facility given it has a Ruth’s Chris and an McCormick and Schmidt attached to it. Furniture is old and worn. Feels less than clean. Avoid."

"Great stay at Hyatt Place Baltimore/Inner Harbor. The location is excellent, within walking distance of so many restaurants and charming areas to explore. The hotel is still in great condition, comfortable, and an excellent value.
The staff did a wonderful job making us feel welcome throughout our stay. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the daily breakfast because of our work schedule, but it smelled amazing every morning! Overall, a comfortable, convenient stay and one we’d happily return to."
