"It was a nightmare... we walked in and the room felt musty, the bathroom had mold, there was a dead spider in the shower, suspicious stains on the sheets, and the matress was rock hard. The "unlimited hop on-off shuttle" only has 1 stop - welcome center in downtown. Though it can be convinient, its not a real hop on-off. So thats false advertisement. "The carpet felt sticky, the staff was very helpful after a problem with my room she was able to find me a nicer room with a partial ocean view and she always referred to me by name which was very kind. The pool situation was terrible, no one was monitoring the people drinking alcohol with children inside the pool, the adults drinking never left the pool to use a restroom while the drinking continued non stop. Children were not being monitored. There were not enough seats for the amount of people...

"I would love to give five stars because this hotel has a lot to like: location by the beach, very clean lobby and bedrooms. Spacious rooms with balcony overseeing the ocean. Nice restaurants around and very close to st Augustine activities yet away from chaos of downtown. The only thing that was disappointing was the staff. No one seems happy to work there and no one tries to help at the front desk at least. We still enjoyed the stay."

"The hotel as a whole was pretty clean. The rooms were well maintained. My biggest complaint would be the pillows. If you are going to stay here then I would advise bringing your own, as the pillows provided caused nothing but neck pain."
