mother/daughter trip

My mom and I stayed here during a mother/daughter weekend trip for Spring fest. It was very quiet and clean. The hotel is an older hotel, but everything was in working order and our stay was great.

The staff that we encountered were all extremely helpful and polite. They are what made this stay a positive experience. On the flip side the water temperature in the shower was not very warm, The breakfast was sub par, the biscuits were cold and hard, the beagle was the same, and the eggs / omelettes were similar in nature.

Nice place for a stopover

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, perfect for a stopover. Only downside were the pillows. They were half the size of regular pillows. It was a bit odd. Bed was comfy and the room was nice and big. Thanks.

The staff was terrific made sure I was ok interact as I come and go. Hate that the dryer was broken down and had to do our own laundry and provide our own towels but it was a pleasant stay.

Good Value

Good Older hotel. Noticeably worn. Nice and quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is good but not as good as our last stay. Great premium TV package

The Hotel is being renovated and that's alright but the hallways are carpeted and looked like they are never vacuumed. Room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable

This hotel needs work for sure! Didn’t think it was open, hallways were hot, roaches were found in the room, so next time I’d spend a little more to ensure comfort and cleanliness. The hotel staff and their pet friendly policy is the only plus at this location.

Good enough for the price

This is an old hotel and it shows. The sofa had a rip in it, there was mold in the bathroom and the carpet was old. The tv wouldn’t come on at first but the desk attendant came and fixed it. The bed was very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean but had no soap. The little fridge worked fine. The hotel was ok for the price but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

I asked for a blanket, no blankets! Last day there we went down for breakfast but it wasn’t set up, asked about it and was told it was on the way. No breakfast! The hotel was nice and quiet and staff was courtesy.

Good breakfast then ehhhh..

The hotel is being renovated/remodeled, they have also had a hard time it looks like several rooms were broken. They also had forgotten to put towels or wash clothes in the room as well. The pool sadly was also being renovated or repaired which was a bummer because we picked this hotel because it had a pool. All things considered their Breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve had at a hotel since Covid. That made the stay better and the staff were friendly.

The property had great space as far as the layout. However it was dated. The bathtub/shower looked dirty even though I assume it wasn't. It need to be replaced or painted. My colleague had bugs in her bed and had to be moved to another room. Furnishings haven't been updated since the 70s. You get what you pay for. I should have paid more.

This is a older property under renovation. The good.: Large room and bathroom with seating area. Quiet and well insulated from noise. Direct TV with lots of premium channels Above average breakfast and good coffee. Price is very low Pet friendly Surfaces clean Great staff Needs improvement : Jetted Tub covered in soap scum. (hint let soft scrub sit on surface for 5 minutes scrub and rinse) Great TV package waisted on elderly TV Chair and fridge broken Towels scratchy and scarce. $20 hand held shower please.

The room was pretty clean, carpet in room was not the cleanest and two arm chairs were very dirty with multiple stains would not sit in them. Bathroom was good, everything worked had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. We could have used a top cover or blanket on the beds. Breakfast was good! All motel personnel were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Suggestion - somethings are getting old and need to be replaced or repaired, curtains in some places were not very attractive and worn, the pool and area around it did not help the motel’s appearance and many windows were very dirty. Overall: AAA rating

Look elsewhere

The front desk night staff was friendly and welcoming. The condition of the hotel is NOTHING like the pictures. Everything needs updated from the stained towels and furniture to the springy matress and old fixtures. The room next door has not been replaced since someone used a battering ram to open it......spend some money updating your stuff. We will not be back

We were working in MS for a few days so we just wanted a clean, comfortable place to sleep and prepare for next day.. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The room had some cosmetic issues that needs repaired. Outlets coming out of wall, Outlets on lamps were very loose, Smoke/fire alarm wasn't attached to wall, Hole in ceiling around sprinkler system heads, Bathroom wall is damaged behind door near tub, Hot water didn't get hot in shower. All small things but when you pay for a room, It should be up to par.

This hotel needs major updates, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The tub dripped all the time and tub felt clean it did not look clean. The toilet had bad rings around it. The breakfast was just okay. I've stayed in other Baymonts which is why I chose Baymont but it was a big disappointment. I don't normally give a bad review but they need to step up.

My family and I booked this hotel for one night, as our child had a ball tournament in the area. It was the only hotel in the area with rooms Available to accommodate us. The room we were given were not clean. There was molded food that had been left in the microwave, assuming from past tenants. The bath tub was dirty, the refrigerator had crumbs in it, and the floors were not vacuumed. The hot water was COLD and there were very limited towels and rags. The lady at the service desk was actually very calm and apologized for the issues and gave us a $20 off discount. I will NOT book this hotel again! I would rather driver an hour and a half back and forth!!
