"Triggerfish was great. We stayed one night transitioning from Caye Caulker to flying home. The pool was wonderful to lounge in on the provided floaties. We were able to walk to a great restaurant for dinner. The breakfast prior to our departure was perfect."

"There was a staff member there that was very rude to us upon checking in and when my family and I wanted to go out and come back in, he refused to move his vehicle for us to park. We cannot park on the side street so we wanted to use the parking lot at that point. I had to contact the manager. We were supposed to be provided breakfast. There was none. I don’t think I would come back here when I’m in the city again."

"We had to book very last minute after American Airlines messed up our flight back, and they were very accommodating on short notice. It was a great location and distance from the airport. Only stayed one night - the dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Some of the facilities are showing their age, but it worked great for what we needed"

Regarding reviews about location, most travelers know Belize City is a jumping off point to get to the islands, one nights stay is sometimes required for connecting flights and water taxi. The hotels are not resort quality because no one is staying there for a week. This was a safe and clean location for our one night stay and totally worth the cost. "We were diverted here for 1 night when the Roatan airport closed due to heavy rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's bare bones room, no coffee maker or safe, no elevator. We just needed a place not far from the airport for a quick one night stay. "
