"This hotel stay was amazing. The rooms are nice and clean and the views are out of this world. The staff was super nice and very accomodating with everything. They provided transportaion from the airport and the ferry. The pool was amazing, the food was amazing, the staff was amazing and on top of it all. Communcation was very easy. We loved the hotel and loved the calm and serenity around the cabins. Just great all around."
"Our host Vinny is the standard of what host should be. She was warm, friendly, and accommodating. Also a great cook. The room was comfortable with everything you need and nothing you don't. The pool is the spot to hang out here. Close to the airport and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was so good we're staying there again before we fly home."

I believe we were the only 2 on site as it was off season she still made us bkft the next day. Oh she also arranged dinner bring brought to us. Jus make sure you take you mosquito spray."
"The hotel had very little to no amenities. They had filtered water in the community kitchen. The room had a refrigerator and cable tv. The bed was comfortable. It's in walking distance to the ferry for caye caulker and San Pedro. They had a community refrigerator and microwave in kitchen. Staff were nice and helpful. Limited places that offer delivery for food. "
"Michelle is a great host. Her place is walking distance from the water taxi. We visited the nearby museum and had a lovely dinner nearby. The bed is listed as a queen but in fact is a nice big king and very comfy. "
"One South Place Hotel is a perfect place to stay while visiting Belize City. My wife and I could not speak more highly of this Hotel. The neighborhood is safe and perfectly situated on the waterfront. The owners and staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. "Our group of 20 persons stayed at the Golden Bay Belize for one night. I had contacted the hotel in advance and they were very helpful in helping me secure a cave tubing tour for our group. When we arrived, the hotel restaurant was to be closed for a private event, despite me notifying the hotel our group would like to eat at the restaurant. The front desk was amazing and had staff prepare an area in the restaurant for our group and we were able to have our evening at the hotel as planned. ...
"Lovely hotel very close to the water taxi and within the area for tours to pick you up at the hotel. The staff is extremely nice and hospitable and the room was clean with shower amenities and a solid ac unit. There are two patios to sit on that overlook the river and there is coffee in the lobby in the morning. There are plenty of places to eat right near the hotel as well as a small grocery store across the street for water, etc…. I am a solo woman traveler and I felt very safe in this area...
