"The entire place needs a makeover but with that being said our room was clean,air conditioner worked great. We were notified that they were short staffed so that the rooms wouldnt be tidied up but that if we needed towels to get them at the front desk. "Do not let them put you in room 253 (room with a view and fridge) if you do not want to be woken up at 6am to body slamming like noises until 10am. The breakfast area is right above the room and it’s very loud. They never gave us a warning which I feel is taking advantage of people. "We stayed in the General George Meade room which was located in the Main House- a key location next to the pantry (espresso & Keurig coffee, teas, treats...) and a half bath near pantry (key if you need an extra bathroom!) and lobby and kitchen. The room was spacious, very clean, soft towels, and COMFORTABLE BED, good size shower, great shower head pressure, 2 pillow types to choose from, LOVELY decor and "peace and quiet" only 2 miles from downtown.
