"This is a unique and amazing airport hotel! Everything is stylish and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. But the amazing thing is the airplane in the back garden. I was jet lagged and thought that I was hallucinating, but there is actually a retired jet in the beautifully manicured back garden. I won't describe it because I don't want to ruin the entire surprise. The airport shuttle is very convenient, too. Great hotel -- I'll be back!"

"Great experience at the Met. Very well kept, great breakfast, and easy access to several trains. It’s important to know it’s in a relatively residential area, not in the thick of the tourist areas, so restaurants, and attractions are a train or bike ride away. For us that was a plus. Only minor critique was that we could have used a mini fridge because multiple grocery stores are nearby but the room was otherwise comfortable and well appointed. The bar area/front desk doubles as an Internet...

The hotel is surrounded by excellent options for dinner and drinks, with a wonderful atmosphere that makes it a pleasure just to step outside. A lively shopping street is just a few meters away, and the train station — with easy connections to Amsterdam and other beautiful nearby cities — is conveniently close, making it the perfect base for exploring the region. "Access to airport shuttle and public transport is excellent! Access to nice breakfast was also great. We were 3 adults in a room, which is difficult to find 3 beds for 3 adults....granted one bed was a bunk and as an older adult, was a bit precarious, but at least accommodated us."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Amsterdam ID Aparthotel. It was exactly what we needed for our group of 3 and loved having 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The location was convenient for us and we were glad to have the grocery store close by. Our only compliant was that there wasn't much counter space in the bathroom-it could really benefit from a shelf or stand, but, other than that, all was great! There's not much in terms of restaurants but that was only a small downside."

"The hotel is great honestly. Maybe not as close to the center but the rooms are spacious, the hotel is well maintained, there were different nglish language channels on TV. There's a very nice park infront of the hotel Rambrandt park. An 8 minute walk to amsterdam lelylaan station which is a small train station you can go to zaandam from that not needing to go to Central station. It is also a 5 minute train ride from there to the airport. There's also a tram station 2 minute walk from the hotel...

"The staff was very helpful. It started when I came in the door. It had a nice restaurant attached to it with sandwich and other options. There was a nice breakfast and typical breakfast prices. The bed was comfortable. The shower was a corner and small in my room. Might not work for a bigger person. Overall a great and comfortable place. "

"There were signs of bed bugs in the room. I found bed bug feces under the sheets of the bed as well as blood on the wall. After discovering this I immediately packed up and checked out almost immediately after checking in. I had to book 2 new hotels and the property and Expedia weren't helpful for a refund so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS"

"Lovely hotel and our second time visiting, the only thing we weren’t keen on was the new self check in service, it just felt quite impersonal! We preferred it when there was a proper reception. Other than that, more food options where reception is would be handy as there aren’t too many places local. Nice hotel but these are just personal preferences. Staff helpful when they were there."
