This is most definitely not my first stay at The Mariner's. I go there because i genuinely love staying there. Nice sized rooms with good bathrooms. Comfortable, warm and quiet. The hotel itself oozes charm and is central to the town itself. Excellent parking too.

Cosy & comfortable, with everything you need for a few days break. Very quiet, peaceful area, with great walks from the doorstep. Lovely to sit at the table in the front overlooking the beach. The property was very nicely appointed and comfortable. The only negative was the extreme closeness of the door to the next property, and the shared outside area, which came as a surprise.

All the staff were at Newgale Lodge were friendly, helpful beyond expectation.
Only drove through on our way to Roch Castle.
Some distance from Victoria Inn but only travelled through on our journey home.
Train station is all we saw bus right outside to Newport
The town, like many of our towns now, has suffered from the closure of shops in the high street but the buildings and courtyards are of great interest to anyone who appreciates historic buildings. We hope that it may benefit from new grants.
