"We were put on the 6th floor. We were in town for a concert and when we returned the elevator was broken. My girlfriend has asthma and I have a bad knee. They gave us a refund and I thought that was cool."

The front desk staff were different - asking our every move, the Keurig cups are kept behind the desk (customers have to ask for them), and they did not treat the other staff very kindly - more than once and in front of several of us having breakfast. Restaurant (Gronks) next door is a good hamburger place."

"Our stay was perfect for what we needed! The check in and out process was simple and fast! The Breakfast was handy! The Staff was great! The pool option was great (hope to utilize next time). I will add that the architecture and layout of the rooms was a bit out of the ordinary. It's a bit hard to explain, but I defiantly got lost at first. However, that would not deter me staying again!"

"The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay."

"Overall the stay at as good, wish they offered a little more for breakfast though. Also housekeeper just walked into our room before we even checked out, check out time was 11 and she just came walking in shortly after 10am. Did not even knock"

"A real nice jacuzzi but it took help to get hot water. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall a very nice stay. A lot of hiking trails almost out the back door. I would recommend this place"

"Reminds me of some of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Europe. Super clean, very modern, and a great vibe. Joe was there when we checked in, and was super helpful in helping us get settled. Great retail store below, and a cool looking bar as well (window-shopped the store, didn’t hit the bar). It is a hostel, so be prepared for shared bathrooms, etc., but we expected that and it was all in all a great stay. Will totally stay there again!"

The hotel doesn't really have a common space or any place to gather, nor outside seating other than a smokers bench, just a small single sofa in the main room which shaped odd and dim inside. the room was not in good shape, missing part of the windows and wasn't able to be locked, on the first floor. "This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. Also no closet or drawers for clothing -- just some external hangers. It does have a gym and a pool -- I used the gym and it was small but the treadmill worked fine. Breakfast is standard motel fare. Service was lacking -- in a three-day stay our room was never made up, but we did get one change of towels. My...

"Check in was a breeze, the hotel was very clean, the room was spacious and clean with gorgeous views, and the amenities were fantastic! The free s’mores were delicious and so fun, I loved the fires outside, and the hot tub being outside made for great views while you soak. Having a restaurant on site was so convenient and the food and service was great. If you want to branch out, it is a short 10 to 15 minute walk to plenty of options.
