"Loved the location of this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful - hotel smelled like it was new or had just undergone painting. Hotel lobby, hallways, design was very nicely done. The room was very nice, loved the large bathroom counter (did not see any towel racks though), room countertops were adequate for our needs, breakfast was good, hotel was quiet (enforced) and the pool was accessible off the main lobby.

"Not a lot of options in the area. However, the room smelled of cigarettes, window had a large crack in the glass, no toilet paper was in the room. Looks like it wasn’t even swept or mopped. "Had a bit of trouble checking in, no one was in the office, apparently it’s all done remote! First room wasn’t cleaned, second room was also not clean and ready! "Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area).
Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels."

"This is a "you get what you pay for" property...Fairly inexpensive, but an old, not at all upgraded facility. Had some odors, soap left over on the tub from previous guest, NO coffee. Refrigerator worked well...but strange note to close the bathroom door when using the shower because the steam sets off the fire alarm. Had the fire alarm gone off, the charge was $250 to pay for the fire dep't call. Very strange arrangement. This may be a property you want to avoid."
