"Historical hotel in a great location in the Altstadt. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has great regional offerings. Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."

"My first time In Heidelberg- As described in others reviews, the staff was exceptionally friendly! I had flowers with me and she offered me a vase and even to trim the stems! We also ate at the restaurant and we’re well taken care of. It was good, but the portions were a little small. Some of the reviews mentioned the noise because it is smack-dab in the Altstadt with cafes and restaurants just below.. so it is loud. But if the windows are shut and you use the provided earplugs it’s quite - ...
