"We are return customers from 3 years ago. Seems as if the property is ran differently than previous. Everything was pretty standard for a 1 night stay. My only complaint was the provided breakfast. We arrived at their breakfast at 7:30am. They started serving at 7am. By 7:30, the staff had alerted us they were mostly out of food which was apparent. No dishes either. I understand they can get busy, but poor planning led to this. All of the guests didn’t walk in from the street. They were booked...

"Parking was easy and plentiful. There were great ocean views and I loved the traditional Icelandic Fishing Village Vibe. The hot tub and hot water from the shower were extremely hot. They also had a strong sulfur smell due to nearby geothermal activity. Bottom line - I would stay here again and recommend it to others"

The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. "Excellent stay...I booked two nights upon arrival and one night on my way out. This was the best place I stayed at during my 10-day trip. I arrived very early in the morning and I was offered breakfast and allowed to check in early which allowed me to shower and take a nap. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and gave me some good tips for local things to do in the city. The big positive for this property is location, very near all the main areas for restaurants and bars but tucked out the way to be quiet. I would come back here if we come to Reykjavík again. "
