Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...

The Belsfield Hotel
The breakfast and dinners were excellent, staff were friendly and available at all times , especially Joy and Migel . The room was dated but clean . There is building work and decoration going on it will be amazing with a pool and spa in the future.
