"Very small without a tv in the room. Coat for room based completely on location. very expensive for the facilities. limited with eating options so had to eat at outlet here - again pricey. In saying all this, the location perfect for the airport if needing to be here for a quick overnight stay between flights."

"Room was large with balcony, with lake views, excellent breakfast choices included, great menu to choose from, had several other meals in the restaurant, they were huge, and delicious, onsite bar served great coffee and a variety off drinks, the staff was friendly and very helpful, the only downside was false fire alarms going off a couple of times in the mornings, disturbing our sleep, overall had a excellent time, great hotel to stay at, close to Westfield shopping centre, public transport interchange, go anywhere in Adelaide from there."

"This hotel has seen better days, but the view can't be seen from anywhere even remotely in its price range. Unfortunately there were some issues with my room. The carpet was very wet right next to the bed and so it was musty and I got wet socks getting out of bed. It's likely it was from the aircon unit but nonetheless it's not what I'd expect. The carpet seemed like it'd been wet for a while. Sound travelled really clearly across rooms, especially from cleaning staff knocking on doors and calling out. The balcony has a lovely view but as the photo shows and staff mentioned to me, the door is left open to it in between visitors as well as suggested when you go out to the balcony. They say you could get locked out; it feels like an odd solution to leave the door open rather than fixing doors. They also said it stops the rooms from getting musty: again it seems an odd thing given that anything could fly in the door into the room while the door is open?? The bathroom seemed recently renovated and was nice and clean, however the ceiling exhaust fan didn't work. The shower was warm but not hot. All up it's a fine enough spot but unless a solid renovation is done it's not great. The view is awesome though."

"Had to chase up Motel for after hours details for entry and key for room. Front door of room seemed to have a fist sized dent - air con was very old and rattled very badly so had to turn off. Could not open front window for air flow and small window in bathroom had locks and after front door issue did not feel safe to open"

"I stayed at this pub hotel in Adelaide in February 2026 and unfortunately it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. The room itself was an odd shape, which made it very impractical. Cupboards and drawers were essentially unusable because they were blocked by the bed, and the furnishings felt tired and outdated. The view didn’t help either — just the roof of the pub covered in air conditioning units — and there was constant noise from the hotel music, which made it hard to properly relax. Check-in was unnecessarily complicated and confusing. Staff seemed unsure of the process, and to make matters worse, they mixed up two completely separate bookings in our group simply because two guests shared the same first name. It didn’t inspire much confidence. Access to the rooms was another challenge. The only way up was via a narrow, winding staircase, which made carrying luggage difficult and inconvenient. The overall atmosphere is clearly geared more toward people looking to sit, drink all day, listen to loud music, and play the pokies. If that’s what you’re after, this place might suit you. But for a comfortable and well-managed hotel stay, it falls short. Meals were standard pub fare — nothing particularly memorable — yet priced at the higher end. Staff were generally too busy to be helpful and didn’t seem able to distinguish between hotel guests and regular patrons. All in all, not a place I’d choose to stay again."
