Mount Pilatus and the valley station in Alpnachstad and Lucern lie in the heart of Switzerland and are very well connected. They are conveniently reached by car, train or boat trip.

Kriens

Situated in the idyllic town of Interlaken, Mt. Pilatus is a must visit. This picture taken in spring happens to be one my cherished travel memories, riding up to be in the clouds.

Alpnach

The Mittaggüpfi belongs to the Mt. Pilatus chain and from the top you can see a lot of Switzerland and the Alps. You best start in the "Stäfeli" and just follow the marked path till you get to the top which takes around 1.5h. It is quite steep but not dangerous.
