"Very old and rundown hotel. Lots of stains on the floor and furniture. Beds were very old and worn out. Sheets and bedding seemed clean and bathrooms have been updated. Breakfast was okay with eggs sausage and waffles. Pool was cold and small. Not your typical Country Inn. They are updating the property but we would not recommend staying here until it is all updated."

"The rooms were new and fresh and clean and staff top notch. Beds comfy. Parking plentiful. Loved the welcome with cookies to welcome Michigan State University grads and families. All around great! And saved us when we had to cancel our three rooms for family at the Red Roof Inn in Lansing - dirty, cigarette smokers running desk, trailer of cats in the pothole parking lot, place in complete disrepair.
Crowne Plaza IHG saved us and then some. Also had a great - but a tad pricey - buffet...

"I choose the hotel as one of my other options had clearly mentioned their pool is going under maintenance.. decided to book this.. and for all my stay their pool area was not working, when asked it was a regular maintenance and would take couple hours.. however these couple hours lasted my whole stay.. my kids were disappointed"

"Some staffs was great but some was not helpfull. My room was accidentally cleared during my stay so I had to contact the staff to get my stuff back. At the end, I got my stuff back but the used clothes got mixed up with the clean one. I need to wash them but the staff didn't try helping (the washing machines only receive ¢25) so I couldn't wash them."
